air conditoning
air conditoning working but no condensation.?
i have an AC unit to my house thats working.
cool air, no problem.
but i have noticed that there is no water coming from the condensation drain line.
the line is not clogged.
i have removed the front cover to the condensation unit and there is nothing clogging the line.
the drain pan is dry.
it was draining water last week.
now …nothing.
i dont get it. the unit cools the house so what happened to the water that used to collect and drain?
does this mean my unit is starting to fail?
every thing i checked on-line talks about too much condensation or water leaks but cant find any info on ” no condensation”.
it has been very very dry outside
it was draining condensation a few days ago then seemed to stop.
AC still cools house very well.
I would think the humidity has something to do with that. Are you in a low humidity area?
Maybe one of these guys or gals that know more about the science of it can say
