cheap air conditioners
why do my air conditioners leak so bad?
I have window air conditioners and they leak something fierce. Water just pours out of them. They are not cheap ones either. Not sure if it something that I need to do to them…have 3 and all three are different brands. Does this happen to everyone else and how do i stop it from soaking everything??
Alwayson is right on. It’s condensation. Imagine a glass of ice water on hot day. The outside of the glass will be sweating like there’s no tomorrow. Inside your AC units are tubes full of coolant used to cool the air. Since the majority of the unit is outside in the heat they will sweat like that glass of water. If this condensation is comming inside the building you definately have a pitch problem. Make sure the rear of the unit is slightly lower than the front.
