How do I replace a fuse for air conditioner?
I have Carrier Series 38 heat pump system. Inside unit is running, but outside unit is not, so I want to try replacing the fuse (FLNR40). The fuse holder has a handle that you pull out, and along comes two fuses. They are fastened with two clamps that I can’t figure out how to unfasten.
These are probably bullet type fuses- long tube with copper ends- if so the pry out fairly easy, the clamps just squeeze on them.
