I posted a question earlier regarding finding a pump in a gas central heating system?
The system is a one way system (six radiators) with a baxi back boiler ie) behind the fire.The problem of course is any way of locating the pump without taking the floorboards up.
Follow the wire, it will lead to the pump. A lot of old back boilers had the pump under the floor on the left hand side of the chimney breast, not sure why but they did,guess they were taught to do it that way.
I bet you’ve got a nice wooden floor now but you’ll have to bite the bullet and start looking.
