My central air ducts are sweating and the water is?
My central air ducts are sweating and the water is showing through the ceiling. Is their some type of insulation I can put around the ducts to stop the build up of water dripping through the ceiling.
Yes the ducts need insulation on them. Is this a heating system with A/C installed? It is common for heating systems not to be insulated.
When A/C is installed the cold air often causes the duct work to sweat. You can buy fiberglass duct wrap at any HVAC supplier.
